New Jerusalem was incorporated as New Jerusalem African Methhodist Protestant Church on May 8, 1968.  It is one of the Spencer Churches.  Records show that Rev. Joseph Woodlin came as pastor on January 4, 1869, and  the first meeting was held in the dhurch on March 29, 1869, The church has survived physical movement, changes of pastor and building reconstruction.  God has richly blessed New Jerusalem.  With the faith of the oastors and members, we continue to move on for the uplifting of His precious kingdom. Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work iwe understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch New Jerusalem AUMP Church. We strive to make a positive change in all of our community.
